The management of Sene West District Assembly had a meeting on 9th March, 2021 at the Assembly Conference Hall.
Mr. Eric Saabome (District Coordinating Director) welcomed all members from the various departments and units and crave their indulgence to comply with the agenda as scheduled.
The meeting was purposed to discuss the preparations towards performance audit of the Auditor-General on selected DDF funded infrastructure projects and the payment for the early fire warning maintenance systems as indicated by DCD.
Mr. Mahama Zulkarnine, the Internal Auditor, took the members through the document from the Audit Service and indicated the intent and mandate of the Auditor-General to audit programmes and activities of government to ensure they have been undertaken with due regard to economy, efficiency and effectiveness in relation to the resource utilization and the results achieved. Members were urged to prepare and get the required documents ready for the exercise. it was agreed to review all the contract documents to ensure its readiness for the exercise.
According to the DCD, the Assembly received a wireless message requesting for the payment for the Annual mandatory early fire warning maintenance systems installed in the assembly which needed an attention of the members.
It was agreed to prepare for the payment whiles waiting for instructions from the Local Government Service.
Mr. Eric Saabome thanked everyone for honoring the invitation and entreated members to work assiduously to project the image of the assembly.
