Stakeholder Engagement Meeting: Launch of the FILMA Project by SEND GHANA

On 13th November, 2024, an important introductory meeting was held to present the Financial Inclusion for Last Mile Actors (FILMA) project to key stakeholders. The event, held at Sene West District Assembly, was organized by Mastercard Foundation in collaboration with Temple Investment, Catholic Relief Services, AV Ventures, and SEND GHANA. The aim was to introduce the project to stakeholders, highlight its scope, and discuss how it will contribute to enhancing financial inclusion for youth in underserved communities.

Attendees
The meeting brought together representatives from a range of government departments, development agencies, and community-based organizations. Among those in attendance were key officials from;

Planning Unit, Social Welfare and Community Development, Gender Desk Officers, Department of Cooperatives, Department of Agriculture, National Youth Authority, Ghana Enterprise Agency, National Identification Authority, Federation of Disabled.

These stakeholders play a crucial role in shaping the implementation of the FILMA project at the local level, ensuring its relevance, sustainability, and inclusiveness.
