SENE WEST DISTRICT ASSEMBLY PRESENTS TO THE DISTRICT EDUCATION DIRECTORATE 200 DUAL DESKS.

On June 17, 2022, at the Sene West District Assembly in Bono East Region, 200 dual desks were handed over to the Educational Directorate to be distributed to selected schools in desperate need of furniture in order to improve teaching and learning and as results help in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote life-long learning opportunities for all children.

Sene West District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon. John K. Nyarba complimented President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his participation in boosting the country’s educational institutions, stating the President’s social empowerment initiatives required the country’s human capital to be strengthened to fulfill.

The Hon. DCE asked for assurances from the directorate that the desks will be delivered to the proper schools and utilized as intended.

The Sene West District Director of Education Richard K. Boateng, who received the furniture, said it came at the right time to assist solve a problem where specific schools were in critical need for school furniture. He claimed that his office would ensure that all schools adopted a maintenance culture in order to maintain desks, and that school monitoring would be improved in order to support teaching and learning.
