The Sene West District Assembly held its first ordinary assembly meeting on Thursday 25th March, 2021 at the Assembly Hall premises to deliberate and legislate on developmental issues of the district.
The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the municipality, its core mandate is to perform deliberative, legislative, and executive functions under the leadership of the Presiding Member.
In attendance were the District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director, the Presiding Member, Assembly members and Heads of Departments & Units.
They house legislated on issues including educating motorist on speed limit, improving health conditions and covid-19 control measures, improving sanitation, enriching administrative activities, monitoring of the ongoing ones, enhancing agriculture, increasing revenue generation, measures towards the prevention of natural disaster, and improving the educational system to help promote efficacy and development within the district.
