On Friday, November 5th, 2021, the Hon District Chief Executive for Sene West District Assembly, along with the District Coordinating Director, District Health Director, Chiefs, and people of Wiase Traditional Area, witnessed the commissioning of the Mframa CHPS compound to ensure that access to Primary Health Care is brought to the people of Mframa and its environs.
Nana Amo Kwasi IV, Gyasehene of Wiase Traditional Council and Acting President of Wiase Traditional Council, presided over the event. He congratulated the Hon. District Chief Executive in his introductory remarks for ensuring that the project initiated by his predecessor in 2015 was finished and is now serving the needs of the people of Mframa and its surrounding towns. He asked residents to continue to support the district’s growth in their own ways in order to draw the attention of governments to the area for more development projects. He also urged the kids to make sure that the facility’s upkeep is a top priority for them.
Mr. Alex Kumah, the District Health Director, congratulated the Hon. District Chief Executive, the District Coordinating Director, the Chiefs, and the Mframa People for making it possible. He stated that the facility’s objective is to meet people’s basic health requirements, and that the community as a whole must embrace the facility and take advantage of all of its benefits. In the ensuing years, he challenged the medical staff to make the institution one of the best, if not the best, in the district.
In his closing remarks, the Hon. District Chief Executive praised the chiefs of Wiase Traditional Council for supporting the facility with some of the basic stationery that the facility requires to begin functioning. He also congratulated the District Health Director for taking the initiative to get the facility up and running. Finally, he urged the residents of Mframa to make maintenance of the facility a routine task, and he urged health workers to treat patients with decency and respect in order to build positive relationships with them.
